Lincoln Property Company, the second largest apartment management firm in the United States, released version 2.0 of its business intelligence tool, propertyBI, in May of this year.
As a fusion of technology and business acumen, Business intelligence (BI) is a system that quickly and easily provides business metrics and key performance indicators in the form of dashboards, charts and graphs. The latest version, propertyBI 2.0, enables users to access the same tools and information allowing for consistency and coherency across the enterprise.
“Measuring performance metrics through BI allows organizations to be able to proactively plan and manage continued success for owners, companies and employees,” says Executive Vice President of Residential Management, Scott Wilder. “The latest version of propertyBI incorporates more visually stimulating and user-friendly elements ultimately resulting in a more dynamic and robust experience.”
This comprehensive version of propertyBI measures leasing, maintenance, financial and effective rent data. PropertyBI 2.0 delivers an intuitive, self-service analytics experience optimizing visualization, exploration and storytelling capabilities. The propertyBI tool encourages collaboration and a new level of transparency between clients and owners.
Dave Ingram, Executive Director of UBS Realty Advisors, has used propertyBI 2.0 to promote increased productivity and improve sales for his business.
“Lincoln developed the program to provide instant, real time data in logical, well-organized formats,” says Ingram. “We use the Lincoln business intelligence software to more effectively manage our assets as we seek to maximize net operating income.”
Capabilities of propertyBI 2.0 include:
• Intuitive Interface: The simplified interface makes navigation easier and less intimidating than the previous model.
• Advanced Aggregation Capability: Aggregation capabilities enable users to manipulate granular data at a property level while also creating portfolio and regional views.
• Comprehensive Data Storytelling: The ability to join many different facets of the business in a one stop data shop empowers our users to better understand and manage their portfolios as a whole.
