Lincoln at Tinner Hill, a new mixed-use development in Falls Church, has secured Target as a retail partner underneath the 224 unit luxury apartment community. The Target will be a “small-format” store, at 26,000 square feet, offering a curated assortment of merchandise and groceries, but occupying a much smaller footprint, about one-third of the size of a typical Target.

Lincoln at Tinner Hill and the retail underneath were developed and are managed by Lincoln Property Company, the second-largest apartment manager in the country. “We know that a small-format Target will add value to our residents and the local community. Lincoln at Tinner Hill is all about lifestyle, so securing a retailer that improved resident lifestyle was key,” said Richard Rose, Lincoln Property Company’s Senior Vice President of Acquisitions and Development.

The products sold within this mini Target are slightly unique as well. Kristy Welker, Communications Lead with Target says, “The product assortment at flexible small-format Target stores are is catered to suit the neighborhood. From home décor and accessories to apparel for women, kids, and men, to fresh produce, and more, we’ll provide the best of Target customized for our new Falls Church Tinner Hill store.”

The store is projected to open in March of 2018, bringing an additional amenity of convenience to the urban mid-rise. Other features of Lincoln at Tinner Hill include a swimming pool, 24-hour fitness center, virtual yoga studio, car-charging station, lounge, game room, business center, multipurpose room, pet spa, on-site bike storage, and repair center in addition to courtyards with lush landscaping.
