This multi-phase project begins with the launch of an online application process at one of its premier communities in downtown Chicago, Alta at K Station. Now, prospects can easily go online at their convenience and securely apply for their next apartment home. The online application process takes approximately 20 minutes and is available 24 hours a day. Electronic payments can also be made through the system so that all required fees and deposits can be processed at the time of application.
The online application portion of the new Lincoln Lease Online program will be implemented at each community within the LPC portfolio and launched region by region. By 2012, apartment renters will be able to apply for an apartment at the LPC-managed community of their choice in the major metro areas of Dallas/Fort Worth, Chicago, Washington D.C., Los Angeles and throughout the nation.
The second tier of the Lincoln Lease Online program, execution of online leases, is planned to begin shortly after the online application program launch is complete. After renters have successfully applied and have been approved, they will have the opportunity to sign their lease digitally online.
Two years ago, Lincoln Property Company successfully launched its Resident Portal program where residents can go online to pay rent, submit maintenance requests and connect with their community's social media networks. Additionally, LPC offers future residents "Lincoln Property Connect" - a website where residents can sign-up for their phone, cable, Internet and utility services.
