With beautiful beaches, a rich cultural history and lush greenery, New Jersey is a small state with a lot to offer. There are plenty of outdoor places to explore, from the Wharton State Forest to The Great Falls of the Passaic River. Head over to Six Flags Great Adventure and Safari to ride on the world’s tallest rollercoaster, Kingda Ka, or learn about over 70 species of animals on an off-road Safari tour. Take a day trip down to Asbury Park to see the city’s historical music venues, which have hosted New Jersey natives, Jon Bon Jovi, and Bruce Springsteen. Even though the Mets and Giants are technically considered New York teams, they both play at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey making it easy to catch a game. The state is also home to excellent colleges including Rutgers and Princeton. And, with 21 companies in the state making the Fortune 500 list in 2017, employment opportunities are plentiful.
